The CHU Sainte-Justine Plastic Surgery Service takes care and follows up on patients aged 0 – 18 presenting congenital anomalies or acquired deformations (accidents, burns, cancer…). Most surgical procedures are related to the reconstruction of the face, trunk and limbs.

A number of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech therapists assist the surgeons in order to meet the children’s needs following plastic surgery.

All referrals are prioritised according to the children’ problem type and urgency.

Plastic Surgery Service team members participate in various multidisciplinary teams.
