Cystic Fibrosis
The CHU Sainte-Justine Cystic Fibrosis Clinic focuses on patients aged 0 – 18 suffering form cystic fibrosis.
Outpatient clinic staff follows through with the family and the child to provide the required care and monitoring. An educational approach is emphasized, where team members explain the disease and its consequences on the family’s daily routine, teach techniques regarding care and the administration of medication.
This clinic includes an interdisciplinary staff composed of a coordinating nurse, a respiratory therapist, doctors, a dietician, a pharmacist, a physiotherapist and a social worker.
