My research program focuses on the development of biomedical imaging and spectroscopy technologies and methods suited for a variety of pre- and postnatal applications in human and animal. These developments are used to study the structure and function of organs including the brain and retina as well as for biofluids and tumors.
Some of these developments are applied in populations at risk of brain injury associated with perinatal asphyxia, congenital heart disease and prematurity.
